Additional information: The Glass Landau is an elegant, closed carriage with glass side panels, popular in the 19th century for city rides and formal occasions. Thanks to the spacious interior and large windows, this carriage offered both comfort and a good view for the passengers. A special feature is that both the leather hood and the glass front open, transforming the carriage into an elegant open carriage.
B. Veth & Zoon was a leading carriage factory from Arnhem, founded in 1840 by Johan Frederik Henrich and Arie Veth. The company was known for its craftsmanship and produced a wide range of carriages, including landaus, coupes, victorias and omnibuses. Over the years, Veth expanded its activities to include car coachbuilding and supplied the royal family, among others.
